And 2024-2025 is done! Lots of tears shed (including from me. !), but those children couldn't be more ready for high school. I wish them all the very best. Some of the messages I have received are beyond beautiful - being a teacher is hard work but so worth it. Happy summer!.

Starting the week with @voice21oracy's Oracy Challenge 'Talking at Transition'. Our children will be writing and performing spoken letters to their older or younger selves as part of their leavers assembly - it's going to get emotional! #primaryed #oracy.

Our Y6s are rounding off their £10 business project with a Market Day, visited by the whole school as well as families and friends. They've pulled out all the stops with advertising, trials and deals. Also - £1.50 iced coffee for the staff on a day like this? Genius. #primaryed.

Shed some happy tears as we shared SATs results with our Y6s this morning - watching their faces light up to see the results of their efforts is a feeling like no other. Days like this make the hard work so worth it. #primaryed.

Nothing tells you you’ve done a decent job than spending an hour being pushed off a giant paddleboard by your Y6s. Though teaching is hard, the relationships are more than a reward. #primaryed.
