All about real world learning opportunities
Fourth graders learn about immigration in SS throughout the year. Today, they attended a Naturalization Ceremony at the Lied Center where they cheered on 352 people receive their citizenship. They passed out cards they made at the end.

The 2024 Kansas Teacher of the Year (KTOY) Legislative Conference is underway. Members of the 2024 KTOY team will prepare to visit with the Senate & House Committees on Education, develop strategies for becoming effective communicators and learn about/discuss education issues.
