-43.80% of districts' personal device policy is consistently enforced across all schools. -57% of districts are not considering changes to its personal electronic device policy in the 2025-2026 school year.

Some of the results included:. -34.10% of districts have had a personal electronic device policy in place for 5+ years. -46.70% of districts have a district-wide policy with variations by grade level. -42.80% of districts said devices must be stored away from the student.

In June 2025, a survey was distributed to all Kansas superintendents to gather information on districts' personal electronic device policies. Lynn and Steel received 256 responses.
