Refugee protection is not a choice—it’s a shared responsibility. At Mae La 🇹🇭, I saw firsthand the talent and skills that refugees bring. When host countries and partners invest in their potential, it fosters self-reliance, strengthens communities, and benefits all. #WithRefugees

Excellent discussion with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin in the spirit of "wikrit o-kard" - Thai concept of seeing every crisis as an opportunity. https://t.co/E4JfYlBPSm

I had the honor of joining Prime Minister, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, with the #UN RC and the heads of #UNICEF, #IOM, in a ceremony issuing national identity cards to stateless persons. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. #IBelong #UNHCR

Congratulations to Thailand 🇹🇭 for approving a groundbreaking process towards residency and nationality for nearly half a million people. Once implemented, it will be the single largest reduction of statelessness by any country. UNHCR stands ready to support! #EndStatelessness

This must stop! This is not a new phenomenon. #Rohingya have been fleeing for safety for than a decade.

Nearly 75 per cent of all #Rohingya refugees embarking on dangerous journeys in search of safety and protection are women and girls. They face heightened risks including abuse, trafficking, forced marriage, family separation, trauma, sexual and gender-based violence and death

World Refugee Day has passed but we must remain in Solidarity #WithRefugees. Take the time and listen to these #Afghan voices collected with @citizensarchive https://t.co/RH5OjJUqY1 Like the Afghans, refugees from #Myanmar remain in exile for decades. We need peace!

Inspiring to speak w/bright Afghan girls pursuing their education as refugees in Pakistan. Such energy & focus! Grateful to Pakistan for hosting Afghan refugees for 40+ years & to UNHCR for providing educational opportunities that too few girls in Afghanistan can safely access.
