We are one of the two cryoEM Core Facilities in Poland equipped with a 200kV Glacios microscope capable of three major cryoEM modalities: #singleparticle, #cryoET, #microED. We are open access to both academia and industry.

Here it comes! A long-awaited paper led by @MatyldaIzert and @m_gorna is now out. It features multi-mode approach combining different techniques including our Glacios-made 2.45A cryo-EM stucture of GroTAC peptide interacting with GroEL protein (PDB ID: 8S32).

Please have a look at this beautiful work of one of our past users dr Piotr Szwedziak who demonstrated that cryo-ET is doable on 200kV microscopes even without energy filter. All data shown here were collected on our Glacios.

A brand new FEG emitter on our Glacios allowed for a significantly reduced exposure times for a given dose which for the first time resulted in an acquisition rate exceeding 300 movies/hr! (Falcon3 detector in linear mode with AFIS enabled)

A great work on Hirshfeld atom refinement and dynamical refinement of hexagonal ice structure from ED data has just been published in #IUCrJ. All measurements were done on our Glacios microscope.
