My grade 11’s have started designing their Ferris Wheels using popsicle sticks, cardboard, and hot glue. They will use their structures to create sinusoidal graphs and equations. Lots of #mathtalk #teamwork #sharingideas ! Can’t wait to see their final designs!

For our @ChevroletCanada #GoodDeedsCup entry, the London Devilettes U13-4 hockey team partnered with @BlackGirlHockey to try and make hockey more inclusive! We also partnered with @Film_Stars and Canadian Training Institute to create opportunities to keep the momentum going!

As part of our “Make Life Better” project - some student groups are using Peltier units as a way to generate electricity. This group is charging a phone by heating one side with a heat gun and cooling the other side with ice - it worked! #STEMatSaunders #tvdsb
