CI/CD is the purest expression of Conway’s Law: your CI/CD pipeline will be broken and messy in exactly the same ways your engineering org is broken and messy. https://t.co/KHB7su003S

Perspective: email apps should not open to an Inbox view. Should open to a prioritized task list. Default behavior should be to work on the most impt. thing. Snapchat's genius was opening to camera view. The default behavior became to share instead of consume.

Sketch launched Developer Handoff in the browser last week to improve collaboration between designers & developers. In the 7 days since launch, designers & developers collaborated on 30,000 artboards. The growth of design as a core part of application development is staggering.

We may be in an era of “Super Infrastructure” software companies in North America & Europe (vs “Super Apps”) Examples: Commerce: Shopify, Stripe, Adyen, etc Dev tools: Atlassian, MongoDB, Twilio, Elastic, etc Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP And more This trend seems to be accelerating.

Negotiation as a Service (NaaS) Hire a firm to negotiate all of your cloud contracts on your behalf and let them keep 25% of savings or $1k (whichever is greater). No real downside for company. Surprised this doesn’t exist!

Working at Tesla is super hard. But after two years, my standards for what success looks like and how big to swing have been dramatically transformed and it's pretty cool tbh.
