Every time a new OS X comes out, I hope to see a new feature to make it possible to find out which process is causing WindowServer to go crazy. Every time I am disappointed.

Wow. Elon Musk just told Twitter employees he’s not sure how much run rate the company has and “bankruptcy isn’t out of the question.”

Opinion | Twitter randos dragging billionaires is cancel culture. Billionaires buying Twitter to end all criticism of them and their companies is free speech.

This is your yearly PSA to turn off Motion Smoothing on your TV. It doesn't enhance the image. It was purely a marketing gimmick meant to trick people into thinking an HDTV looked super next-gen sitting next to the CRT TVs at the store back in the day. Your eyes will thank you.

An intoxicated cop rear ended a car, fracturing the skull of a 2-year-old boy. Police tested the boy’s dad for alcohol but the cop refused to take the breath test – and he got away with just a traffic ticket https://t.co/JXukogkTkw

Only about 1/3 of the way through @__mharrison__’s Effective Pandas, and I wish I’d had this years ago. I knew I sort of muddled my way through a lot of pandas code, but I didn’t realize how much I was missing!

I don't think anything has helped me understand the anchoring effect and how easily it is to fall prey to it quite like Wordle has.

The TreasuryDirect website (only option for buying ibonds) makes a lot more sense when you assume that the people building it don't just hate their users in general, but know you personally and are trying to get back at you for something.
