Markets better hope that OpenAI doesn't stumble. Hard stop.
Reuters story on AI (another reality check) titled: "AI promised a revolution. Companies are still waiting" Lots of great anecdotal stories in here on GenAI implementation. Below is one of my favorites. Come on...a 100-page document of rules should be cut and dried... but it

Visiting the battleship is a must do if coming to NJ. As is getting a tomato pie at DeLorenzo's or Papa's near Trenton.
@SullyCNBC Off topic, but thanks for mentioning the USS New Jersey. It is now on the vacation list along with a trip to see the state and visit Atlantic City! Texas $$ coming up your way!

I was in law school in late 1990s when some federal laws were being written around the 'birth' of the consumer internet. Congress actually got it (mostly) correct. But if states get involved in AI lawmaking and botch it ... watch out. Already seeing some go after data

To my point on @SquawkStreet just now: investors in $ORCL and much of the AI thesis better darn well hope the "rich uncle" (OpenAI) comes through on their promises of $$$. OpenAI is private and some smart peeps I know are - probably rightly - a little jumpy. It's been

All 17 California reservoirs are filled above historical averages so between this rain and the huge snow coming to Tahoe it could soon be a challenge to manage all the water. State is long overdue figuring out ways to capture excess water for the lean times.
Legit rain in LA. Risky for hilly areas. Hoping fire-hit areas in Altadena and the Palisades don’t take more hits.

Will be seats full of indifferent corporate execs and a couple of billionaires from Brazil or Argentina while the real fans sit home and watch on TV Who’s getting rich off this insanity?
July 19 MetLife Stadium East Rutherford, New Jersey Might be the most expensive tickets ever sold in North America.

Detroit admits some of its policies were driven by politicians and policies and not consumer choice. Now thousands of good paying jobs wit benefits may be wiped out. Ask any politician when they last bought or drove their own car ..?

Detroit automakers are refocusing on large gas-guzzling trucks and SUVs, and many have admitted that policies, not consumers, were driving the charge for EVs.

Of course. It's fun and very cool. Random but interesting: I drove one of the very first Tesla's when it was the old Lotus chassis. 2009 (?) or thereabouts. Was so fast (not that, ahem, found out or anything)
@SullyCNBC Have you driven in an FSD Tesla?
