PA House and Senate Democrats love to refer to the 2023 Commonwealth Court ruling regarding education funding. How do arbitrary funding cuts to PUBLIC cyber charters not violate that ruling? @PaEdChoice @Malliard @shesanti @YDelko @AJLivingston7 @JackSkyrunner

School districts harbor these individuals across the Commonwealth. So many individuals who face our kids everyday should NOT be around children. Pennsylvania House and Senate Democrats want to chip away at the options for you to find your child a safe learning environment.
In MY school district - and one of the reasons my daughters have remained in alternate education since COVID: A current situation has reportedly resulted in “early retirement” of a teacher involving sexual activity on school property. Sounds like “stealing taxpayer dollars” that some of our @PaHouseDems claim cyber charters do.
By the way, let's discuss how cyber and charter rates are determined, as cybers don't charge a rate. And districts only pay for students who have left to attend a charter. Why on earth would a district need funds for a kid they no longer educate? That's ridiculous. @Malliard

             1) Charters don’t charge anything. They are reimbursed by districts based on the district’s per-pupil spend. 2) If the cost is “exorbitant,” maybe that means districts spend too much? 3) Why do you seek to cut from charters to put more money into districts?

I also encourage Senator Lindsey Williams to talk to some of the cyber charter families that live in her district and explain to them why they should receive cuts to their funding. @PaEdChoice @Malliard @shesanti @YDelko

Senator Lindsey Williams put the needs of her party over the needs of Pennsylvanians when she voted against a responsible budget. @SenWilliamsPA is supporting a budget that would lead to billions of new taxes for Pennsylvanians.

@GovernorShapiro Every student? That’s a bold LIE. You cut funding to over 65,000 children in k-12 education. Even when it was one of your campaign promises. Parents are paying attention. #SchoolChoice

@SenatorKimWard, @SenatorMartinPA, and @SenatorPittman need to hold the line on the budget. @PaSenateDems make it sound as if districts will be bankrupted if they don’t receive over a billion dollars in adequacy payments this year. Why is the $526M from last year that remains in this proposed @PASenateGOP budget a bad thing?

This fool is more worried about making himself look good on the national stage than getting a common-sense budget passed in Pennsylvania. Why isn’t he getting his House Democratic leadership together with Senate Republican leadership on a DAILY basis?
Congressional Republicans are more focused on playing partisan politics than ensuring 2 million Pennsylvanians continue to receive food assistance through their SNAP benefits. Their priorities are clear.
