In the midst of the horrific tragedy in Bondi, Gal Gadot comes forward with a message of love and unity. No matter how many people try to portray her differently, she has always been a woman for peace. And this particular message is one we should all be sharing.

This evening I hugged Zalman Lewis, the cousin of the murdered British-born Rabbi Eli Schlanger z''l. Zalman was at the public Chanukah menorah lighting here in Brighton. Following British Jewish tradition, I wished him "a long life". He told me that, as we are in the festival

A new PNAS paper finds that polarization increased immediately after the invention of smartphones and the advent of social media, which both appeared around the same year, 2008. Both profoundly changed the way humans communicate and this rise of connectivity may have fueled

As we kindle our first Chanukah lights this evening, we hold the victims of the unspeakable atrocity in Sydney in our hearts and in our prayers. We mourn the loss of the innocent lives taken so brutally in this act of hatred and terror and we pray for a speedy recovery for all

Rabbi Eli Schlanger, who was among the 11 murdered at the terror attack at the public menorah lighting and Chanukah event in Australia, had this post pinned to his account. His call was that in the face of darkness, the way forward is to “be more Jewish, act more Jewish and

My new paper now out in @JNCI_Now where I make a case for why de-escalation trials can be designed as superiority instead of non-inferiority. This allows for smaller sample size making de-escalation trials faster, cheaper, and more efficient. https://t.co/g9pvKpstnh

Given today’s horrific events in Sydney, we recognise wishing our Jewish fans a happy Hanukkah may seem hollow at this incredibly difficult moment. The story of Hanukkah reminds us that even in darkness, we can find the light. We stand alongside our Jewish communities and pray

The unarmed civilian hero who stopped the terrorist at the Chanukah party in Sydney and seized his rifle is Ahmed El Ahmad. Ahmed, 43, a father of two and a fruit shop owner, risked his life to save others. He was shot during the attack and is scheduled for surgery tonight.

DOESN'T EVEN MENTION THAT IT WAS A JEWISH EVENT What a shameful disgrace! PM Albanese avoids even mentioning that it was the Jewish community targetted and Jews shot.

Kids are antifragile. They learn best from mistakes. They need to do hard things, over and over. But now they turn to AI instead. We need to learn from our giant mistake, letting social media permeate childhood. Let's not let tech companies run another giant experiment on kids

Young people aren’t using AI the way most adults think. After interviewing students worldwide, I heard things that shocked me — from outsourcing daily decisions to letting AI shape their morals and beliefs. How do you see AI reshaping decision-making in the next few years?

The most dangerous addiction today isn't a substance. Research on 100,000 people confirms that heavy short-form video use is just voluntary cognitive decline. We are actively training our brains to fail at hard tasks. If you can simply sit with a problem for 10 minutes without
