At the end of every meeting in the #NHS we should ask "How has our meeting improved things for patients?"

After a very long summer break from work I was delighted to join @EMASNHSTrust this week as Director of Finance. Really looking forward to a different challenge and the opportunity to meet and work with staff across the Trust.

Culture is defined by the worst behaviour tolerated, not the perks we enjoy.

After 40+ years in the NHS I left Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICB yesterday. Looking forward to some family time over the summer before seeking a new challenge. Best wishes to all colleagues in the Notts system it’s been good working with you

Yesterday marked the launch of the #Bassetlaw Suicide Prevention Alliance It was great to see so many people and groups represented at the event. @BassetlawPBP arranged the afternoon and it is exactly the sort of integrated care that we need to work towards

Good to see so many staff back in the office today .. some people I haven’t seen face to face for 2 years .. others that have just started in @NHSNotts. A really positive feel today … oh and great cakes in our #nhs bake off!

So it’s the NHS 74th birthday today … our new ICB Boss Amanda Sullivan @NHSNotts has made these amazing cakes to celebrate … absolutely amazing talent!
