Katie became a St. Jude patient in 2011, after being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Now she’s back home and happy to report that her first day of fourth grade was full of friends and fun. “We’re so proud and thankful for Katie,” said her mom.

Karique gets his love of dancing from his father. And like his dad before him, Karique has retinoblastoma. St. Jude is working to help Karique keep both eyes and experience fewer lasting effects than his dad. And cancer has not kept Karique from dancing.

Jordyn is a competitive gymnast. In 2014, when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, gymnastics took a back seat while she underwent chemotherapy. Now, Jordyn is finished with treatment and back in the gym. At a recent competition, she won three gold medals.

When Micah was a baby, a cancerous tumor wrapped around her spine could have left her paralyzed. She was treated at St. Jude for stage IV neuroblastoma. This Spring, Micah danced the night away at her junior prom, an experience she described as one of the best of her life.
