Montreal has endured the most antisemitic hate crimes of any city in North America since October 7, but the media and local politicians have been mostly silent or dismissive. Good thread below from @Aaron_Derfel 🧵.
1) The arrests this week of two individuals who physically assaulted Montreal Jews for just being Jews underscores the rising antisemitism in a city with the third highest concentration of Holocaust survivors in the world, after Israel and New York.
