100% correct. When I checked my NI contribution, it told me that I had paid enough to get the full pension. I have 8 years to go, so why do I have to pay in the remaining years if successive government is going to change the rules.
Like millions of other British citizens I’ve been paying National Insurance contributions all my working life. Even the years I worked abroad my dear Dad always reminded me to keep up my NI contributions so I would get a state pension. That was the deal we were sold. If we made.
