Big shout-out to my former colleagues at UNIGE. Decoding imagined speech is a hard task; in this work, we showed that low- & high-frequency and local cross-frequency coupling is differentially involved in the decoding of articulatory, phonetic, and vocalic features. @NatureComms.
New paper alert! We used intracranial EEG #ECoG to study how cover speech (what you to say "in your head", but not out loud) is encoded in the brain, and whether it is possible to decode inner speech at all. With @labgiraud @NeuDyLab @Luc_H_Arnal @SaaJaime and many collaborators!.
