That was my experience as well. So many hotels & hotel rooms in the area that the demand of the Cup race didn’t jack up the prices by much, if at all. And the L train was a life saver; got a 3-day pass for just 15 bucks.
FWIW, my hotel room was an average of $200 a night for three nights. Across the street from the track. 🤷🏼♂️ And didn’t have to rent a car this weekend. Was genuinely one of the cheapest races travel-wise all season (not counting tickets, of course).
