Why is it ok for 1000s of randoms to congregate in a stadium but we can’t have a wedding with more than 30 people?! Weddings are highly organised events and we wouldn’t risk the safety of our loved ones/suppliers by poor planning?! #whataboutweddings @WAWofficialUK @BorisJohnson

This captured the moment exactly a year ago on the phone to the PM as he appointed me a minister in @beisgovuk. I was at a wedding! I've heard the collective voices from @WAWofficialUK & had constructive meetings with @UKweddingsOrg. I'm determined to get weddings back asap

As a teacher, I am prepared to go back to school whenever we are allowed. But I will be deeply disappointed if I am expected back in the cramped classroom, teaching 100+ a day but won’t be able to have wedding with <100 distanced guests #whataboutweddings
