Heard a great one from @steparry2 on @bbc5live today - that Adam Peaty’s winning time of 57.37 today was 6 SECONDS quicker than Duncan Goodhew’s time when he won gold in the same event in Moscow 1980.

Back at the same pool, same gala (even the same blooming officials!!), 30 years later. Watching child 2. @steparry2 pretended he came along to "shout Kiki on". hhmmm. stevie, I know you spend your weekends visiting local galas to sign caps and be adored. Don't fight it pal.
