I am so proud to have been patron of the Barrie Wells Trust for the past 12 years. I have seen the amazing effect Box4Kids has. I have met James on a number of occasions, he is SO inspirational person. I would be so grateful if you could support James at the Great North Run!

RIP Bob Birrell We were advised of the passing of Bob Birrell yesterday. Bob was an Olympic hurdler in the 1960 games and represented his country at the Commonwealth Games He was also an accomplished coach and official and could be seen collecting training fees on club nights

The #SJA2023 Committee Award goes to Katarina Johnson-Thompson! She fought back from injury and self-doubt and ran a top quality 200m, an excellent long jump and an incredible 800m to take the gold medal at the World Championships by just 20 points. Congratulations Katarina!🥇
