All of this after getting the token, waiting in queue, completing the process. The officer wasn’t even ready to start the process of cancellation for my father’s ID card without a copy of his ID. Why would I have the copy after 8 years of his death!

NADRA knows through their record that my father’s been dead since 2017 (we got the death certificate then), yet I still have to apply to cancel his ID card first. Only after that clears in 24+ hrs, I apply for renewal of my ID card. Trust NADRA to complicate the simplest process.
