I am interested in how information is created and flows between processes and actors across the so-called timber value chain. I develop tools and workflows for modelling timber structures and elements, simulating their behavior, and creating instructions for their fabrication.

My work at CITA including and since my PhD has explored new potentials in timber construction through the interfacing of computational design modelling, design integration of material behavior and heterogeneity, simulation, and a very hands-on approach to digital fabrication.
