Do I short crypto so I can long everything else or do I long everything else so I can short crypto?

Last chance to Join @Damicale_s 's competition before it closes in 3 days. Since the top 40 traders get $25 and there are currently only 35 traders, you are basically guaranteed to get $25 even if you only do a single trade. But you have to open your mind. Ostium is not
It's lonely at the top Need some good traders to challenge me for #1 (I'm more of an Android person anyway)

It was obvious all the AI's and other traders were getting chopped up on fees and slippage. So as soon as growth mode started I simply fullported XYZ100 at 15x

Ostium still comically overlooked by the broader crypto community Forget about farming for points - here you have an opportunity to put 7 and 8 figures into assets that can actually go up for longer than a week or two
Today, I'm thrilled to announce that we've raised an additional $24 million in new capital, including a $20 million Series A co-led by General Catalyst and Jump Crypto, along with Wintermute Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Crucible Capital, and an incredible set of angels. They will

$KNTQ at $37m market cap. It's tricky selling a governance token when your customer base is self-selected for being obsessed with buybacks, value and utility. We are not $LDO or $JTO buyers. We will need more information about these things

This is unfortunately true. I LOVE Hyperliquid and will always use it for trading crypto and for equity/shitcoin pair trading, but a baseline funding rate of 10.95% which often spikes much higher is not viable for a long term hold of a stock or index fund. As @kaledora pointed
One issue with hyperliquid stock perps is the funding. The base funding rate of 10.95% per year is too high for equities. It is only valid for crypto where delta is so high. There's no way anyone wants to pay 10.95% per year to hold long term stocks, for trading vol events like

Days like this I think of all the money that was extracted from investors by the memecoin cabal, including presidential ones. Then I think of the value destruction of DATs designed to “buy high, sell low” but where the bankers, lawyers and management still get paid as they bleed

Regime 4 began in earnest on 10/10 imho. Some heuristics: positive news are getting reversed (eg $UNI fee switch), small bodies started to surface. This is not a predictive framework (there is no such thing) but only serves to add nuance to the unproductive “bull / bear”
Since some of you found this framework helpful, here’s an updated version All frameworks are by definition reductive but this gives me clarity on navigating time frames and is part of the reason I limited significant drawdowns to 2 (2017 end and May 2021) in the past 7 years in

So, I did open a few positions on @OstiumLabs this afternoon including a single trade for $1.5m And... the quoted post is actually true, at least for this size - haven't tried 8 figs yet
Nasdaq up 1% today Large clips (>$10m) face less than 1bp of spread and predictable, <5% annualized holding costs Go crazy!

🚨 $MSTR hints they’ll start dumping Bitcoin to pay dividends on the preferreds which they issued to buy the Bitcoin which they’ll sell to pay the dividends on the preferreds which…
At current $BTC levels, we have 71 years of dividend coverage assuming the price stays flat. And any $BTC appreciation beyond 1.41% a year fully offsets our annual dividend obligations.

JUST IN: Nakamoto $NAKA has just dumped 367 #Bitcoin worth over $35,000,000. We’re in the phase where all of the treasury companies who bought BTC are now facing major loses and will be forced to dump. This bear market is going to be worse than any before it.

With all the major DATs, including MSTR, trading at or below NAV now, it is only a matter of time until they begin selling the crypto they bought at higher prices to buy back shares Hyperliquid
