there comes a time in most companies' evolution where they will be increasingly tempted to outsource certain efforts, including core functions because the first time you do something is always the hardest - this is true both for people and companies - and the ramp up from 0 -> 1

🚨 NEWS: I sat down with @POTUS for a wide-ranging interview about his influence on Europe, his actions toward Venezuela and the cost-of-living challenges here at home: -He made his sharpest critique of Europe yet, calling leaders there 'weak' -Says Russia has the upper hand in

Some people aren’t just in big roles, they *are* the role. e.g. Tammy at Stripe. Solana at FF. Katherine at AD/a16z. For appropriate roles, recruit people whose natural inclinations fit your business and pitch them "be yourself, just with more support and a stronger platform."

great irony among the small but vocal crowd of anti-VC absolutists and their bullishness equity perps all those tech companies - which far outperformed crypto this year - were backed across many successive rounds by VCs the problem isn’t so much VCs as simply bad companies

three years ago I caught wind of Kaledora’s plan to build Ostium. back then it was just an idea. I didn’t know her personally, but my gut told me I should. I never did. still, I’ve tested every one of @OstiumLabs new product releases since then, and the rate of improvement kept

This is unfortunately true. I LOVE Hyperliquid and will always use it for trading crypto and for equity/shitcoin pair trading, but a baseline funding rate of 10.95% which often spikes much higher is not viable for a long term hold of a stock or index fund. As @kaledora pointed
One issue with hyperliquid stock perps is the funding. The base funding rate of 10.95% per year is too high for equities. It is only valid for crypto where delta is so high. There's no way anyone wants to pay 10.95% per year to hold long term stocks, for trading vol events like

perpification of everything psyops will continue until further notice
1. Perpification of Everything: We think 2026 is the year synthetic markets break open via RWA perpetuals, bringing exposure to everything from private company valuations to macro indicators fully onchain. The “perpification of everything” will create entirely new markets and

So, I did open a few positions on @OstiumLabs this afternoon including a single trade for $1.5m And... the quoted post is actually true, at least for this size - haven't tried 8 figs yet
Nasdaq up 1% today Large clips (>$10m) face less than 1bp of spread and predictable, <5% annualized holding costs Go crazy!

Was looking at tradfi trades on both Tradexyz and Ostium. Honestly dint feel too much difference between the 2 in terms of offerings. @tradexyz Advantages - More order types (Scale, TWAP) - Familiar CLOB based interface - Offers more crypto related markets from HL - Better
