The fusaka fork starts its process to ship on Mainnet! The first step was the Holesky testnet fork - which happened an hour earlier today! The fork has finalized and the network is looking good, we'll run through our tests and update you in a few hours.

Excited to share that I've joined @ethpandaops πΌ My first week has been an incredible deep dive into the tooling and infrastructure that powers testing, development and analysis of upcoming forks at the Ethereum Foundation.

Sunnyside Labs, together with @ethPandaOps, @Optimism and @base, has launched another mega-devnet for Fusaka, featuring 56K validators and 1.7K full nodes - roughly 11% of mainnet scale - and supporting up to 72 blobs. https://t.co/w2dSspD5R6
Sharing results from last weekβs mega-devnet: Sunnyside Labs had run the largest PeerDAS devnet in the history in joint with @ethPandaOps and @base last week. Want to know what we discovered? A thread 𧡠https://t.co/M3iYG7Mf37

The largest Fusaka devnet is now being geared up! @testinprod_io and @base, who have been putting efforts to L2 scaling by contributing PeerDAS as a part of @Optimism Collective, are now teaming up with @ethPandaOps to run the biggest devnet in the history.

As of today, all Ethereum execution clients support history pruning for pre-merge data. For mainnet, this means 300-500 GB less disk space required to operate a node. Learn more about what this means and how to take advantage the new functionality:

Good interview from Roman Storm. His trial is coming soon in 10 days. Privacy of messaging without backdoors is now widely accepted, and many in business and government regularly use tools like Signal. Given the extremely regular hacks of centralized databases that we see
"FinCEN guidance from 2019, which we heavily relied on, specifically states that software anonymizing providers are not subject to money transmitter licensing requirements. That gave us confidence that what we were building should not put us in a risky position." Watch full

Over the last couple of days, all major @ethereum clients signalled that they consider a move to 45M gas per block safe. Please adjust your validators accordingly. Please update to the new releases to get the improvements and fixes that clients need to safely move to 45MGas β¬οΈ

Just in time for Pectra, we've been cooking up a live view of Ethereum block production over in The Lab. Watch the lifecycle of a slot unfold as blocks travel through relays (or are built locally π), land on nodes and then receive attestations π πππ

Amazing first 30 days! Involved with some amazing efforts: - blob/acc - @eth_proofs - beam chain ...I've also had a chance to meet *just* about all of the @ethereumfndn teams. A clumsy first attempt at keeping it all straight is below. π΅βπ«
Very excited to share that Iβve joined the @ethereumfndn EF Research Ops team as a Research Coordinator! The depth of talent and diversity of thought in this ecosystem is astounding π³! I hope to share more soon, but currently - drinking from the fire hose! LFG!

Did you know that #Ethereum's switch to proof-of-stake saved around 8 million tons of COΒ² annually which is more than twice as much as Germany saves with all its 1.4 million electric cars (2-4Mtons/year)? Sources: https://t.co/Q3DnqnhVCj

Also a huge shoutout to Paul Harris and to @r_krasiuk for the coordination during the initial week of the Holesky madness. And @ChodoKamil for the huge push on checking with everyone during the last couple of days!
Humongous props to @skylenet @_pk910_ @BarnabasBusa @samcmAU! They put in a ton of late hours to make this a reality. The retro will definitely have some wild stories :D and pk's tools are unmatched, even when he didn't spec them for such insane edge cases.
