Yes, decent managers make good signings. Grimes has been a revelation since arriving. Very good managers improve what they have, however. Virtually every player Lampard inherited is better now. Simms was the one I'd question, but even he looks to be improving now. #pusb

Must confess this was my reaction to the Eccles 'foul'. The Millwall player has come from behind, so any contact and it was a penalty probably, but the fall looked theatrical.
Eccles goes down far too easy. He was the same Saturday. I do think he's been fouled a couple of times but he over does the motion of going down and it looks like a dive. He's looking for fouls before they come and refs won't give it

It's almost surreal being a Cov fan. I was there in League 2 with about 8,000 other people only 8 years ago. To see a regularly full stadium, competing towards the top end of the Championship, baggers belief to me.

The positives are we're still unbeaten and defensively we were excellent. On the flip side, it showed how limited our options are going forward. EMC was a big blow that affected us. There was nothing on the bench today that could've changed things.
