spent $34k on all of my cat’s medical issues (urinary blockage, perineal surgery, and most recently, liver failure due to an autoimmune disorder) with insurance, i was reimbursed $27k~ 🤪 i will never not get insurance for my cats, even if they don’t need it.
-$11,000 but with pet insurance i get reimbursed $8,800. i cannot stress this enough. GET PET INSURANCE!!!!!!!!!!

i'm really proud of myself because i opened up a Roth IRA account today (at almost 34 years old) and plan to max it out every year. i now have (two) HYSA accounts, a 401k account, and a Roth IRA account. finance bros hate to see me coming.
