I feel that Branding is the most overlooked and understudied amongst the big moats in which a tech startup can invest in. Young founders study all sorts of stuff, from technical to business, but donāt study enough branding in all itās forms and applications.
4. Economic Moat A strong economic moat exists when there's a long-term competitive advantage. Moat protects a company's profitability and growth from competition. Examples: ā¢High switching costs ā¢Economies of scale ā¢Network effects ā¢Regulations ā¢Branding

Iāve met a couple of wannabe āidea supremacistsā in my life and I always found them very scary. The thought that we can have a society led by these kind of people is also a reason why whatās going on in certain parts of the world nowadays really hurts me on a more deeper level.
Let's talk about social authoritarianism. We can break low-rung thinkers (those who identify with their ideas, care more about being right than truth, never change their mind, etc.) down into three categories: 1. Non-authoritarians 2. Social bullies 3. Idea supremacists 1/10
