Iβve posted this field of cornflowers before but reckon we all need it this morning. Seeing plant forms, the colours green & blue & images depicting nature induce biochemical changes in the human brain, resulting in relaxation.

@silverpebble Hmm, interesting. It's a mix of colour therapy and patterns, almost like mandalas. To add a thought to this, colours have a vibrational frequency, the same as sound or any other waves. π

@spectral_song Yes, though sound waves are solely mechanical, waves of compression of molecules in space whereas colours lie in the electromagnetic spectrum. The patterns our brains are responding to are the fractals made by all plant forms. They attenuate the stress response.

@silverpebble Thank you. Iβm struggling right now. Trying to recover from depression, some days are so hard. Corflower blue, my fav colour!

@silverpebble This is beautiful Emma thank you. I sat for a while with my chickens this morning just looking down at the earth beneath my feet, the same earth under all our feet, Ukrainians, Russians all of us. Felt very sad and helpless. Prayers of course. πππΏ

@silverpebble Interesting. In USA we call them bachelor buttons and theyβre one of my favorites. They were heavily featured in my bridal bouquet

@silverpebble So beautiful. It induces relaxation but also childhood memories. I remember a field full of colourful wildflowers during late spring at my grandmother's farm. I would pick them to make crowns and "daisy" chains and bouquets for my baby uncle who was buried in the family cemetery
