The Tesco worker doing 40 hours a week (all year mind you 👀) is just as entitled to a liveable wage as any other professional. If you have an issue with pay in your industry, raise it - but you don’t need to step on others to get higher up the ladder.
26.4k a year for minimum wage 40 hours a week. Teaching salary is 30k a year to start with. So you’re telling me I have to go to university for 4 years to then start off on a salary 3.6k more than someone who works at Tesco? That makes sense…
