7 years vegan. I don’t have health issues. I didn’t lose gains. I don’t spend a lot of money on food. And I don’t spend a lot of time on complex food combining. Don’t listen to anti vegan propaganda that says this lifestyle is unhealthy, expensive or impractical. It’s not.

I hear this argument a lot. “It’s possible to be a healthy vegan but it’s extremely hard. You need to be very intelligent and most people just cant manage” . I find it hard to believe most people lack the intelligence to eat legumes grains fruits nuts vegetables and b12.
@sibaburck Because it’s such a nutritious food it has the best amino acid profile, healthy fats, and many vitamins. It’s possible to get the same nutrient intake from vegetables, but it’s much harder, and in reality, many vegans experience some form of malnutrition. Lab meat is the way!.

Love this and I believe lab meat will change the world for the better. But I really don’t understand why smart people who know the harms of the meat industry won’t just go vegan now. Why is meat so important to you?.
I’m eating lab grown meat the second it’s mass market ready. It’s biologically identical to animal meat and will reduce suffering more than any technology in the history of our planet as long as enough people switch over from factory farmed meats.

Factory farming is the only way to feed 8 billion people large amounts of affordable meat. A world without factory farming is a world where most people are vegan most of the time. Meat eaters being against factory farming is about as dumb as vegans being against big crops.
Ending factory farming does not mean we default to lab grown franken-meat with ingredients no one can pronounce that we all know cause cancer. It means moving towards regenerative and a pasture-based farming system. Factory farming is gross and horrific but you leftists are.
