Standing here today, it’s hard to believe:. Entire colonies in this part of Latin America trace their origins back to "this" city.

Even after Buenos Aires became the capital, Asunción stayed a key player, politically and economically.

Asunción was "the" launch point in the Spanish Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata. The base for founding new cities. A hub for trade, governance, and expansion across the region.

I always thought I understood Latin America’s colonial history. But recently I learned something that completely rewrote the script in my head.

Today, August 15, is one of the biggest days in Paraguay—Asunción’s founding day.

Good morning beautiful internet people. Today I started my day a bit late, but I'm here.

I have no idea why. She froze. I froze. We just stared at each other like, “What was THAT?”. Still can’t explain it. The human body is weird. 😂.

Today she ended the session with the most relaxing hand massage. Left hand first—pure bliss. Then my right hand…. And just as I’m melting into the table, completely relaxed, my body suddenly grabs her hand and try to twist it.

Something really strange happened at my massage today…. It’s my second week going to these Russian massage therapists. I started because my neck was so tight it felt like steel cables. They’re incredible. My therapist has been slowly unknotting my neck and shoulders like a pro.

Thanks for the good wishes ❤️. My headache finally went away today after a massage session with my Russian therapist. She recommended a nap and a migraine pill, acetaminophen hadn’t really done much for me. Thank God I’m feeling so much better now. 🙏.

I'm back.

Since yesterday, I have had a terrible headache. I have already taken 3 acetaminophen, and nothing. I accept remedies, prayers, potions, prayers, and good wishes that you can send me. Please help me with any suggestions or support.
