Time will tell if this debate leads to real change but what’s certain is that we’ll keep up the pressure. This government needs to know we’re not going anywhere, and the public will keep demanding protection for British wildlife. #news #debate #parliament #wildlife

Yet again, after 13 years and the ending of 247,278+ badgers, this argument cropped up again, so thought i might resurrect this. “Too many, too many" they scream as they perform that act of ending, an ending of finality, of no return. Yet these are the too many that release each

@TB_Advisory @shropsbadgers @KingshayFarming TBAS, could you post on residual infection (RI) in cattle left after official bTB tests please? Your posts are all good but you need to show you know something about RI and its importance too. It’s maybe more important than slurry, contiguous spread and even wildlife.

Contact with TB infected cattle in neighbouring herds is a potential source of infection for your cattle. TOP TIPS: •Maintain perimeter fencing that prevents direct contact with neighbouring cattle •Install double fencing •The boundary should be at least 3m. @KingshayFarming

Tony Juniper once wrote a book in collaboration with King Charles ... who really dosn't like badgers ... 🤨 Must just be a coincidence that he's Chair of the DEFRA offshoot which licences the mass killing of this 'protected' #wildlife species ...🙄 🙏✏️ https://t.co/NMgIbHC6Ol👈✍️

The Government’s TB Eradication Strategy allows the continued killing of badgers, a protected species, until the end of this Parliament, despite the Labour manifesto calling the cull “ineffective.”...
Natural England’s own Director of Science found no justification for further badger culls. Yet in May 2024, Chair @TonyJuniper approved 26 supplementary cull licenses. This is an absolute disgrace. ✍️ Sign our government petition to end the cull now: https://t.co/x8Mu043LE0
