It took engineers and tradesmen 60 years to create Australia’s wolds class electricity grid and only 10 years for scientifically and engineeringly illiterate zealots to destroy it #Auspol2025

Australia has become the last country in the developed world to receive the memo: that large-scale renewables, at this penetration, are not working anywhere as promised. Costs are soaring, timelines are blowing out, and social licence is already dead. #Auspol2025

Every serious resources project in Australia must lodge rehabilitation bonds — sometimes hundreds of millions of dollars — in government-controlled accounts to ensure the landscape is restored. Yet no comparable requirement exists for large-scale solar or wind developers.

It make no sense , from an economic , engineering or environmental point to plug a scatter of small, intermittent power stations into a grid built for large, dispatchable ones #Auspol2025

Just 3 of Bowens boondoggles Build a 4,000-kilometre cable between the Northern Territory & Singapore to deliver solar-generated electricity Produce 15 million tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030.Construct massive wind farms offshore, including using floating platforms in deep water

Let’s face it, you did not need to be a scientist, an engineer or an economist, to realise that green hydrogen was never going to work #Auspol2025

It’s happening!! Today 100,000 young Australians will have their student debt cut by 20 percent.  This week one and a half million more Australians will have their student debt cut.  The week after that another one and a half million Australians will have their student debt

Lucky for us that our electricity network was designed built and operated by engineers&other smart individuals in the 70’s 80’s & 90’s because the whole operation has been taken over by imbeciles and there is no way we could have survived this long if they’d been let loose sooner

Why would China sell solar panels to economic competitors at below the cost of manufacture ? #Auspol2025

Renewable penetration has reached a point where marginal revenues collapse to zero or even negative for long periods of the day.Coal units were never designed to ramp up and down to follow wind and solar ,the forced cycling increases mechanical stress, as we now see with Eraring.

The NSW Liberals have elected a leader capable of matching Chris Minns photogenically now they must abandon the symbolic politics of the past decade and return to engineering, economics and common sense. #Auspol2025

Wind and solar rely on a symbiotic relationship with Fossil fuels and just like all such relationships the parasite needs to benefit from the good health of the host , in the case of Australia’s energy sector the parasite is slowly but surely killing the host #Auspol2025

Make it make sense “Coal has been a cheap & reliable source of energy for Australia since the beginning of our domestic electricity system. We have an abundance of coal that we gleefully sell to major polluters like China and India so we can buy back wind and solar technologies”

Today for Trans Day of Remembrance, we honour the memory of the trans lives lost to acts of transphobia and discrimination. Trans and gender-diverse people deserve safety, dignity and real respect – their right to exist is not up for debate.

Yes, yes it is frustrating that the primary building blocks of misinformation about our energy debate include CSIRO and AEMO. They are bureaucracies in the same bucket as the ABC, a captured partisan green bubble.

Anyway, it's infuriating to find people keep reaching the wrong conclusion from misleading information so long after how misleading it was has been so thoroughly exposed. GenCost's 2030 figures for renewable integration are worth nothing. Ignore them. 5/5
