Didn’t get my @OttawaCitizen Fri & today. Turns out, new carrier doesn’t have bldg access & papers are in lobby. Nobody informed us. Tried to cancel - paper would stop Mon, no refund for remainder of period. I have to call AFTER the period ends. Crappy customer service

Well, the 18.2% increase for the print edition of @OttawaCitizen feels like a kick in the pants to loyal customers. We’re going to cancel altogether, or pay $14 for digital; for sure, the current (new) charge of almost $45 is the last one of that amount that we’ll be paying.

Darn, @CiaoSamin isn’t using X any more: I wish I could show her the result of my first attempt at tahdig. Coulda stopped cooking 2-3 minutes sooner; but pumped that I was able to flip it nicely. And it’s very tasty. The crunch from the crust adds a nice texture to every bite

Whst a surprise @rogers @RogersHelps - the calls continue. Why on earth, when running a campaign, do agents call repeatedly despite being told NOT INTERESTED? Is your strategy to call a customer until they finally give in, as it’s the only way to get the calls to stop?

What does it take to get @Rogers agents to STOP CALLING with special offers? I’ve had several calls this week; told an agent today I’m not interested & to make sure nobody else calls. A bit later, another call. All I said to that gal was F**K OFF (repeatedly).

Gotta admit, I was kinda scared heading for my 1st colonoscopy. But the folks in the @QCHOttawa endoscopy unit - beginning with reception - were so very kind, friendly & attentive, my anxiety was allayed & I got through the procedure pretty calmly. A+ for the entire endo team

Big mistake not packing earplugs when going to ER, suspecting that I might be admitted. Surgery in a few hours & I haven’t slept, thx to beep of machine pushing fluid into me. I thought about my funeral & what to eat when i can eat again but would much rather have slept

I needed a knife holder to clear some counter space. Super happy with this gorgeous maple bar by Beau Grain, from @Knifewear. It’s a perfect match to the cabinetry in my rental unit kitchen! Absolutely no worries about knives falling off, thanks to embedded earth magnets. A++
