This is my face. I find it hard to look at it as I feel guilty for allowing myself to become obese. It was my husband that said I should cut carbs. 5 years ago that’s what I did and have turned myself around. You too can do it.
I used to think this was dirt and try to wash it off. Little did I know it meant I was soon to become diabetic. If this is you then do something about it now!
Humans don’t have gut bacteria that can digest cellulose. That is why we can’t eat grass and why there is so little caloric value in vegetables. There is a reason cellulose is called ‘insoluble fibre’ Eat meat
Passed a nursing home yesterday, outside the kitchen door were huge drums that once contained veg oil. Makes me sad thinking about what those residents are having to eat because the chef has been told veg oil is healthy.
My friend wants to know when I will start eating normal food again. It’s sad that processed food is now what people consider normal.
She’s also worried because I only eat 1 meal a day

Carbs contain almost zero nutritional value
Inflame our bodies resulting in swelling and fatigue
Raise glucose &/or insulin, impacting ALL other internal chemistry/hormones. fructose stress the liver even more bc the body cannot break down or USE fructose (fruit sugars)
Sugar has ruined more lives than any natural disaster and yet it still continues to be worshipped and excessively consumed no matter how many people end up obese, get diabetes, go blind, lose limbs, plus many more metabolic diseases

My daughter took her cat to the vet. They told her his kidneys are not functioning properly and to limit his protein. Told her to go buy low protein food, it’s full of rubbish and carbohydrates! Even vets are not trained in nutrition!
Maltodextrin or sometimes called tapioca starch has a GI of 105. That’s higher than table sugar. Labels can claim sugar free as maltodextrin is not a sugar. Beware.
