The merest waft of snowflakes overnight. A literal sprinkle. Disappointed children? Nope. They’ve only seen proper snow once in their lifetime so no nostalgia effect for them.

I don’t ‘do’ resolutions, but this year I have made a list. No dreamy stuff, all meaningful improvements. Short version: being better at things that have meaning with a set of metrics that matter.

I work in central London. I drive to the city when I am in the office. I see lots of odd things on my journeys (Asian folk taking wedding photographs in front of the Houses of Parliament is up there). Today a new height (ahem!) was reached. Fake base jump landings. Go figure.

Last November I lambasted @British_Airways for poor customer support. This weekend just gone they gave me two (yes two!) back to back long haul upgrades. All is almost forgiven! #FirstWorldProblems

I am on the edge of my seat for @thecriticaldri2's review of #thefountainofyouth. This will be one not to miss. What a jumbled-up pastiche of at least 15 other movies (that I noticed in one watch) with so much stupidity it defies belief.

Watching Cleaner on @SkyCinema and looking forward to the inevitable lambasting review from @TheCriticalDri2. It's a total shirt show. Terrible beyond belief. Trope cliché laden, over acting across the piece, and a joke of a plot. Awful. Truly awful.

Interesting to read that hashtags are now ‘dead’ here on X. Assume that grok goodness is now inferring what to promote. Be interesting to see if that influences monetisation options.
