At least five more on the docket too! Nicollet at 67, 70, 73, 76 in 2026-2027 76th and Knox in 2028 Considering but TBD for several locations on Penn in 2029-2030
Just an observation…. If someone held a contest to see which Minnesota city has the most roundabouts per capita…… The clear winner would be the city of Richfield.

MnDOT reluctantly paid for this bridge (both to mitigate some of the negative equity impacts of the highway expansion, and for construction staging). But including stairs was still a local expense paid by Richfield and Bloomington. I'm glad to have them!
The stairs for the Rosland Park pedestrian bridge were dropped due to cost. But, the new Chicago Ave pedestrian bridge over 494 has ramps + stairs. The south stairs connect with a pedestrian path to Walmart. In the few minutes I was there, 3 people crossed the bridge.

Jackson Meadow is essentially an exurban subdivision on the edge of Marine on St. Croix, but it's unlike any other modern subdivision you've ever seen. Massive prairie that doubles as communal septic treatment area. Incredible design coordination. https://t.co/qhqXHoPdTt

I got the boyfriend to visit Jackson Meadow with me last weekend! It was even more captivating in-person. (Full disclosure: he said it felt like a modernist eco-friendly "Get Out")

There are many reasons why malls are dead, but terrible design choices are key among them. This is the same part of Southdale in 1963, when it was a modernist masterpiece that didn't make you feel dead inside.

Minneapolis is a union town! Workers deserve a living wage and an affordable home. Mayor Frey turned his back on workers when he vetoed the Labor Standards Board and proposed gutting co-enforcement. As Mayor, I'll champion workers, and ensure our workforce can stay in Minneapolis

Richfield and Bloomington lost a great leader in August! I wanted to share a bit about Rick Jabs, former member of the Planning Commission, Community Services Commission, and many other Richfield organizations.

First Richfield cannabis dispensary got its final land use approvals last night! 7424 Lyndale Avenue. As a condition of approval, they'll be doing some nice improvements to the site, including a better pedestrian entrance, reduced parking, and more landscaping.

Overly enthusiastic Jacob Frey supporters are “collecting” our lawn signs! They're a hot commodity but don't worry — we've got you covered.

In this uncertain world, imagine being a baby bird growing up in the second R of the Harbor Freight sign.

Went to see Stillwater's Pumpkin Regatta today... it was fun to see the paddler piloting the giant pumpkin, but with the wind shipwrecking the other two contenders, I was impressed to see the pilots swim them past the finish line. Like a 1500 lb kickboard!

We need leaders who can be resolute in their vision for the city and fuel change in these divisive times | https://t.co/neZLwMaE2E
