I think we’re close but this isn’t the issue. Point spreads don’t just fall for no reason. They only drop late when sharp money (professional bettors) knows something. Look at these three games: •Miami vs GT (2023): -21.5 → -19 •Miami vs SMU (2025): -13 → -10 •Miami vs VT

I’ve been saying accountability with refs are an issue for years. We should pay them more and then fine them for various levels of missed or wrong calls. It should be enough to combat the atrocity of officiating in the acc as well as a way to incentivize a younger crowd
Miami already sent in several plays to the ACC. If the ACC reviews them and says the refs made a mistake, what happens then? Does the officiating crew get in trouble?

He tries to hold him up. Stupid weak call. Again. The universities simply DO NOT hold these conference referees accountable enough. They send tapes. They infer. Yet they cost you MILLIONS in revenue with bad call after bad call Find teeth.
Horrible officiating here. Pass rush starting under belief play is on, and he tries to hold him as he finally realizes.

It’s honestly wild how the ACC trains their refs — if it’s close, call it on Miami. If Miami gets mugged, play on. You basically need a felony on the field to get a flag for the Canes.
