You can’t say you’re not comparing two teams with the same record that play each other, you just can’t Forget your rooting interest, this is asinine

This makes absolutely no sense. That same Penn State team had not played well before Oregon, and then lost to UCLA and Northwestern with Drew Allar. Credit for what? A preseason ranking?

CFP chair Hunter Yurachek says that Oregon is still getting credit for beating Penn State even though the Nittany Lions fell off after that game.

It's like the CFP chairman doesn't know that those two teams with the exact same record actually played each other this year.

Hunter Yurachek just said it... comparing losses!!!!! LMAO Didn't say Team A beat Team B, they should be higher, the fact Team B lost to Team A and thats a good loss actually matters more. Just incredible.

The committee continues to love Utah for some reason. Very cool that their AD got implanted on the committee.

So Miami isn’t in the same tier as ND because ND’s losses are better… what the hell are we doing? The chair of the CFP just said ND’s loss to Miami gets them in a better tier than it does for beating them. Clown show.

It seems like the only people left arguing for ND are their own fans. Every national voice that’s actually bringing it up acknowledges how dumb it would be to have them in over us if we both have the same record

The Notre Dame vs Miami debate is a landmine the College Football Playoff committee is in danger of stepping on. Maybe the Irish are better, but ignoring head to head would ruin the committee’s credibility. My column for ⁦@YahooSports

The two teams are both on track to finish 10-2 and not play in a conference title game. Should the committee reward the Canes for beating the Irish head-to-head, or give the Irish a spot for looking...

Theyre framing it as ND vs Miami so that nobody questions why the SEC is just getting 5 in unchallenged. We have to fight for their scraps

A good point. Maybe the case is "why are these 3 loss or other 2 loss teams in the conversation?" relative to us and the team we beat in the opener this season

.@chrisfallica doesn't understand why Miami is currently outside the CFP 😒 "Imagine 1st game of the year, you beat Notre Dame. Then you wind up with the same exact record at the end of the year, and Notre Dame goes to the playoffs and you don't. How are you going to feel?"

Falling off a cliff must entail not letting the opposing team cross your 50 yard line until the walk-ons check in. Two weeks ago, no one, INCLUDING myself argued Miami over ND.. Miami needed to get right for that to matter. Guess what. They’re right and now this jig is up for ND.

@MichaelRyanRuiz @Jared_Lawyer_SB First game of the year, with a Freshman QB, on the road and still had several opportunities to win that game. The fact is ND’s game plays gets better week to week. The defense has improved 10 fold. Miami’s gameplay is falling off a cliff. CFP and basic fans can’t ignore that.

ESPN’s Playoff Predictor gives: • 9-3 Texas a 45% chance to make the CFP • 10-2 Miami a 10% chance to make the CFP It says 9-3 Texas, who just got blown out by 25, would have a better chance to HOST a CFP game than Miami would to even get in the Playoff at all.

This is actually pissing me off the most, Texas should be eliminated. They haven’t looked good at any point this year. They needed miracles to beat Kentucky and MSU. They only beat UTEP 27-10
