My favourite quote of #ARM today "We're not here to fulfil quotas, we're here to fulfil dreams" - @Gurdas2209 speaking about BAME medical students and those from poorer socioeconomic backgrounds #ARM2019 #BMA

If you're eligible to vote in the referendum on improvements to the junior doctor contract you should have received an email by now inviting you to vote. If you haven't and you think you should have done, contact our team on 0300 123 1233

Don't know what surprised me more today the man hurling racist abuse at me in the street, or the fact this is the first time in 2 years of living in what seems to be the least diverse place known to man. 🧐

Junior doctors, penultimate and final year medical students: we need you to check that we have the correct details on our records for you. This is why it’s important…

'I don’t think it’s right for him to say that, because girls can do anything and what he said makes it sound like girls are weak.' Evie earned her Speaking Out badge by writing to the BBC to complain about a line in a Horrible Histories episode. 👧👏 She got an amazing response!

It's good to see wider attention for the unacceptable problems junior doctors face when they try to take leave. We're currently in negotiation with Govt on this issue - thread:

Thank you everyone who has marched yesterday at #PeoplesVoteMarch. It meant so much to me, as an EU citizen that has found a home in the UK, as a doctor that wants what is best for her (tiny) patients, as a resident that wants the best for the country that she lives in.

This is not the NHS in which I work. As to who’s running the hospital at 2am? The team. The doctors, the nurses, the techs, the porters, the radiographers, the ODPs, the lab staff, the on call pharmacists and physios, the list goes on #theNHSrocks

.@MattHancock says in some antiquated corners of the NHS nurses might still have to stand up when doctors enter a room. He says "doctors should stand up for you. After all, who is running the hospital at 2am?" #CNOSummit

What has happened in Christchurch is an extraordinary act of unprecedented violence. It has no place in New Zealand. Many of those affected will be members of our migrant communities – New Zealand is their home – they are us.

Whilst every death from sepsis is a tragedy, it simply isn’t true that every death fron sepsis is preventable, and it really isn’t helpful to suggest that it is 🙄

Sepsis kills over 52,000 every year - each death a preventable tragedy. So we’re introducing new guidance to use #data to identify & treat sepsis faster - and save more lives

"Sorry you can only count ATLS as 6hrs of teaching time as it's not a requirement for F2. Sorry but those MOOC courses you did don't count. You need to go to more teaching." I am SO done with the foundation programme. It's like it's set up to sanction keen trainees

Even the Daily Mail admits that most voters now want to #Remain in the EU. If the government’s main argument for #Brexit is that it’s “the will of the people”, well, it isn’t anymore! #marr https://t.co/FKx5zxWish via @MailOnline

We had over 30 people attend our packed #JuniorDoctorsForum today and I’m so lucky to work at a trust where the #ChiefExecutive comes every time to hear directly from Doctors in Training so she can tackle problems in her hospital immediately 🙌 this is what #leadership is about
