always been a huge believer in Aztec. had some funds in zk dot money. now running a testnet validator (soon mainnet). but Aztec really clicked for me when on a call with @omw_to_the_moon he explained to me that because there is no canonical bridge but multiple third-party
So how does this work? Aztec doesn't have a canonical bridge. Any one can deploy a smart contract on Ethereum and bridge funds to Aztec. Because Aztec's blockspace is private. When an intent is bridged to another chain, you can't see who sent it. 🤯

This wasn't just a tweet. It was a proper kick in the teeth to all the clowns in the bitcon circus. Bitcoin went from cypherpunk rebellion to "scan ur face to stack sats" a theme park for custodians, influences and people who think privacy is optional...until the day they

We're going for 100,000 signatures on this petition and need your help getting there. Please sign & share: https://t.co/5Kr7pxUehg The Samourai Wallet devs have both been sentenced to prison for the way other people used the software, this doesn't happen in any other industry!

blockchains have few unique value propositions, one being asset programmability I don’t love this ideologically but the opportunities on Ethereum going forward are in asset programmability more than censorship-resistance
@0xMert_ ICM The whole industry is like 10 basis points into tokenizing all of the $500T of the world’s equity.

compliance? yeah sure we have all the tools necessary to do it, but it should not become default backdoors for regulators quick example: selective disclosure with viewing keys is cool, but what happens when the government wants to see everything? let's not build the panopticon

"Privacy is for criminals" is the most successful psyop in modern history. It flipped the moral frame entirely. Made you defensive for wanting basic human dignity. Made privacy advocates sound guilty just for existing. Meanwhile the actual criminals write laws, run surveillance

With the Winklevoss twins. Or so they said. I trust nothing. Even though everyone verified their identity, I believe they are clones, and are part of a CIA conspiracy to get me to divulge my secret knowledge of the crypto space. Trust no-one.

this should trigger a blood memory that causes every hair on your body to stand up if it doesn’t your ancestors failed you there has never been a more obviously coordinated pump and dump grift in the history of the world
Maybe I bot some $ZEC, maybe I didn’t. Best part is you will never fucking know. Shield your $ZEC and join me in heaven with our lord Satoshi.

Both Binance and Gemini (founded by Winklevoss who also founded Cypherpunk) delisted Monero when they had no substantive reason for doing so (Kraken US still has it listed). They fostered a culture of degenerate gambling and regulatory capture. Yet they want you to believe

why is privacy okay for comms but not money?
HTTPS used to be optional. Few used it. Now it’s mandatory, enforced by browsers. That’s why HTTPS succeeded. You can still use HTTP, if you’re willing to skip past the warnings, but most people never do. Mandatory privacy matters. Opt-in privacy has never worked.

I have never seen anything like this. There's a concentrated effort by a few billionaires like the Winklevoss Twins to push Zcash. Big accounts are being paid to shill this absolutely scam of a project that only exists to enrich said people involved. They all brigaded my
I beg your pardon? "Zcash is a hedge against Bitcoin" I think this is quite damaging for the CEO of a Bitcoin Treasury Company to say. I have no words. Please clarify @khingoei. @AlexandreLaizet good job ✅
