If you haven't spent a good amount of time sitting with, listening to, and serving those who are walking, wounded, out the back door of their churches, you probably aren't equipped to minister to them if they happen to walk into the door of your church.

My kids both decided they wanted to run against each other for 4-H club historian, but I successfully talked one of them out of it, so I am considering that a parenting win.

Of course, we don't have context for this clip, as is typical of Protestia's media. So perhaps there is some relevant history missing. But I don't think this is an exemplary way of handling an elderly person who is sincerely misguided in a congregation.

"Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat. older women as mothers.".-1 Timothy 5:1. Correction appears to have been necessary, and possibly even a discreet escort from the service. But this approach seems to violate Scripture.
Pastor rebukes an elderly woman who, among other things, insisted on speaking during the church service and interrupting with a 'word from the Lord.'. "God has told you nothing. That is a lie! You may not stand up and say 'God hath said.'

Jesus entered into the atrocities of this fallen world and endured the unspeakable for our sakes. He has called us to do the same for those who are suffering. He came in a body of flesh to walk among us in our darkness, our fear, and our atrocities.

This seems fitting for the timeline today.
Christianity does not look like praying and singing and giving money while ignoring the screams, unspeakable suffering, filth, and death of others. Christianity is not calling others *them*—somehow unlike us, not human, deserving of their suffering.

Today has been rough. No relief yet from my ear infection (it's extremely painful/half my face is swollen), the baby also has an ear infection + teething, our 3 year old woke up with a stomach bug, so basically today has involved both of the littles screaming into my sore ear.
