I’m one of the very many people who went to bed last night not knowing what the schedule would be this morning and it turns out my usual trains (in and out) are those which have been axed from the schedule. Awake early for nought / longer day ahead.😖
ℹ️ We’ll introduce a temporary timetable tomorrow to provide greater certainty & reliability for our customers. Our app & Journey Planners will be fully updated for weekday travel by 22:00 today and weekend travel by Thursday. Click for a summary of the changes on each route.👇

As the saying goes, show me an AI model and I’ll show you a labour violation. Thanks @jamesbridle for spelling this out so cogently

This is how these bosses get rich: by hiding underpaid, unrecognised human work behind the trappings of technology, says the writer and artist James Bridle

this morning in our class about the future of digital cultural heritage, students asked what I could tell them about museums and NFTs... we all need to swot up even more on this history.
I normally refuse to speak up about the monetary value of work but I have nothing personally to gain here: Sotheby’s is dramatically undervaluing MOTHERSHIP. It’s one of the first works ever registered to a blockchain in 2013, period. We even still know the hash.

The whole @artfund team and board are thrilled that @SandyNairne will be our new Chair from the autumn, succeeding Chris Smith who will retire from the board after 10 years as our Chair. We’re fortunate to have two such brilliant leaders to guide our work.
We’re delighted to announce that @SandyNairne will be the @artfund Chair of Trustees from this autumn. https://t.co/7mHp1yFk0a

As a former museum curator, I'm more shocked that viewers find this walkthrough realistic than I am in Sora's achievement. No physics model could produce this physically impossible gallery, and no self-respecting artist would produce the malformed pastiches on its walls.
