What ive found is everybody talks to you and literally stops traffic for you when you're on crutches or you have a dog but nobody gives a shit when you hear voices even though im the exact same fucking person.

Conversations of successful independent women on dating in NYC is now just, "I just want a guy to bring me chicken fingers when i want them" (not take me to a fancy country, fine dine me, jet set,etc.).

It's my 3 yr anniversary of moving to NYC. I'm a different person. I started by befriending crazy wealthy jet setters before someone told me NYC is just a giant mental hospital. It made me think of the reasons why people choose to come here bc most of it is truly insane.

Sprained my ankle this week and now am taking the time to listen to all my feelings.

In therapy over the past 20 years I was taught that we all need a space for every aspect of ourselves, even our toxic sides, and this is how o justify my time spent on Twitter because it is the perfect place to be a piece of shit! But then you have to move on not dwell. .

Even though in my life there was plenty of horror, my family is large, well-resourced, and most of all, caring and providing. Many people with mental illness dont have those things. I pass on knowledge and information through writing, but people need finances & housing. And hope.

It is getting really bad with my grammar but I told a psychiatrist that I should consult a speech-language pathologist and he said no that wasn't what that was for. I disagree. I will probably consult one anyway. The problem is that I, the patient, have to be excessively creative.
