Thank you everyone for helping out! Various individuals, and groups working on a larger scale, have come together to help with ration and cooked meals for these people. So it's sorted for now. I guess though there might be many more such issues in the coming days, if not weeks.

Please get in touch with me if you have contacts who can rapidly provide either cooked food or ration for about 500 people in the Banaswadi, Lingarajapuram area. Working to get government relief to them, but many have already run out of food so it's urgent.

An incredible atmosphere of solidarity! What an amazing job the organisers did, managing to bring together such huge numbers of people to protest peacefully. Hundreds of volunteers were there helping with everything from traffic to providing water to making sure people were ok.
