Are parenthetical interrupters or negative parallelisms inherently bad? No. Overusing them gets pretty grating though. Just as establishing decisions or shared understandings of concepts in a paper isn’t a bad thing. But pasting a dictionary definition is incredibly gauche.

it’s not that any of these writing ticks are particularly bad, it’s just that language models are not tactful writers. I bet when Claude was in pre-training school it loved starting essays with “Websters Dictionary defines (word) as…”

Was thinking more about this. Part of this is just how fast SUI moves. Consider a full width button: the “proper” way to do it changes every year. Button with Text between spacers. Then maxWidth infinity. Then relativeContainerFrame. New this year is .buttonSizing(.flexible)
