A humble suggestion to medics out there, esp. GPs: Please use simple language when speaking to patients. Ask: Did u fall/have an injury? Not: Is there history of trauma? Ask: Do u have phlegm? Not: Is ur cough productive? Say: runny nose /cold Not: Flu (short for influenza)
