Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one whose x account is an amalgamation of all my interests - no code softwares, design, football, and of course crypto...

Applying for jobs is so tiring and i've only sent my first few applications 🤣 Its lowkey embarrassing to apply for a creative position even as a part time or intern, yet with a resume filled with sporting experience only. Nonetheless, if i never try, i'll never be hired.

7/ It’s evolving, creative, and something I’d genuinely enjoy exploring. It’d also help me stay updated with the industry while contributing value. But where do people find these jobs? X? LinkedIn? or Word of mouth?

6/ Thinking about it more, Web3 could also be an exciting path. There are creative roles in community building—something I’m passionate about because it involves connecting with people.

5/ That said, I’ve always dreamt of working in a startup or even building my own business. Knowing that every decision I make directly impacts the company, its growth, and the people around me is meaningful to me. It’s so much more fulfilling than just clocking hours for an MNC.

4/ I’ve started applying for creative roles in Web2 companies on LinkedIn, not because I love the idea of a 9–5, but it’s important to have something to fall back on. As much as I dislike it, stability is essential, and I want to do something about it instead of waiting around.

3/ I’m on track to graduate with zero internships under my belt, but I’ve explored other passions: content creation (built a small personal brand on tiktok) and playing sports at an international level. Now, I’m thinking of where to go next.

2/ I followed my gut in uni and pursued something creative. But over time, I realised architecture as an industry isn’t for me. The work-life balance is nonexistent—even as a student, it’s been overwhelming. If I can’t enjoy it now, I know it’ll be hell as a career.

1/ With just one semester left before I graduate in April, I’ve been reflecting on my journey. I chose architecture because I’ve always been creative, but stuck to math and sciences all throughout school—it felt safer, or at least that’s what I thought. Here’s where I’m at now.
