This is an absolutely DIABOLICAL workflow 💀 Somehow @thepatwalls @starter_story are finding emails of people who comment on their videos, and thank them for their comment. Absolutely insane. I would love to know how long this took to cook up. Bet the engagement on this is

Just watched the new @tibo_maker × @thepatwalls video… And it might be the clearest breakdown of how to build profitable indie products. The biggest lesson that hit me: Don’t bet everything on one app. Build a portfolio of small products. If one slows down, another picks up.

We have lots of people come on starter story with strong accents. nobody cares! especially because it's video - so we can use visuals, graphics, captions, and youtube's own closed captioning to convey the message (harder with an audio podcast) when the story & information is
so I recorded with @thepatwalls hate myself, hate my accent, hate my static pose 🤦♂️ 🚫 don't watch it but Pat is awesome at asking the right question 🙌 link below though

I ran into an ex-YC partner that rejected me years ago. He didn't remember me, but asked me what I'd been working on since the interview. I told him about Starter Story and some of the metrics behind the biz. He told me Starter Story more successful than 90% of companies that
I applied to Y Combinator 5 times. Got rejected 5 times. The last rejection was May 5, 2022, at 7:56 PM in a Thai restaurant in Toronto. That night I stopped playing their game. 3 years later: $2.35M, 5 employees, no VC. Here's the math they don't want you to see:
